Short story: We’re hitting the road again.
For the first two years of a permanent resident visa in Ecuador, one is only allowed to leave the country for 90 days per year. Well, time has flown and those first two years are wrapping up. They officially end on November 6! For the last two years, we came close to the edge and were out of Ecuador for 86 and 88 days respectively.
Now that we can travel freely, we have a ton of great stuff on the books. Over the next 14 months, we will be traveling for more than 10 of them. We’re psyched, and ready to go! In fact, we already got started. We spent Stephanie’s birthday week here in Ecuador in Baños, so watch this space for a blog about all the fun (and mostly wet) stuff we did there.
Our itinerary page has been updated, and we will be maintaining it going forward We’re looking forward to sharing our adventures with you, so come virtually with us. In fact, if you feel like traveling yourself, come physically with us!
